Samloryx Consultancy (Pty) Ltd (registration 2022/231776/07) is a South African private company that designs and builds intelligent business systems. Our operating office is at 377 Long Avenue, Ferndale, Randburg, Johannesburg. This policy explains how we handle personal information on this website, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
When you use our contact form, support form, email, website assistant or WhatsApp channel, we collect the details and messages you provide: typically your name, email address, phone number, company, enquiry and support history. Support tickets may be linked to your client record and retained for service delivery and audit purposes. WhatsApp delivery identifiers and status updates are also stored so we can prevent duplicates, respect opt-outs and audit delivery. Our servers keep standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.
We use your information to respond to enquiries, provide and improve our services, and keep this website secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
We count page views so we can tell which pages are useful. This is built into our own platform rather than provided by a third party, so nothing about your visit is sent to any analytics company, advertising network or other outside service.
What we record is the page address and, if you arrived from another website, that website's domain name. That is all. We do not record your IP address, your device or browser details, or any identifier, and we set no cookie and use no browser storage for this purpose. Because none of it identifies you, it is not personal information under POPIA, which is also why this site shows you no cookie banner.
The trade-off is deliberate: we can see that a page was read, but we cannot tell how many separate people visited or follow anyone between pages. We would rather know less. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we record nothing at all.
Messages you send to the chat assistant are processed by a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) to generate replies, and stored on our systems. Please don't share sensitive personal information (such as identity numbers or financial details) in the chat. Use email or a call for anything confidential.
WhatsApp messages are transmitted through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform and processed by our secured business system. Service replies are limited to the permitted conversation window. Marketing templates require a recorded opt-in; send STOP at any time to opt out, or START to opt in again. We do not use WhatsApp contact details for unrelated third-party advertising.
Information is stored on secured infrastructure and access is limited to the Samloryx team. We keep enquiry and conversation records only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, after which they are deleted.
Under POPIA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, and request that it be corrected or deleted. Email info@samloryxconsultancy.co.za and we'll respond within a reasonable time. If you believe we've mishandled your information, you may also lodge a complaint with the South African Information Regulator.
